Palm Beach Gardens EOC*Experience of Beth McKeown
The new Emergency Operations and Communication Center is located adjacent to City Hall and the Police Station creating a cohesive and complementary design of this central center for the community. The LEED® Silver Certified center contains multi-purpose spaces, state-of-the-art technology, 24/7 police dispatch center, classrooms and kitchen. The interior design concept for this project was to integrate the natural storm patterns of weather radar and interpret that into interior finish color and pattern selections while using healthy and sustainable products to achieve silver certification.
