Winter Park Community Center*Experience of Beth McKeown
Located in the heart of Winter Park, Florida, the new community was designed using the stone veneer and other natural building materials that complement the architecture of the neighborhood. The goal of the design was to create a gathering place both inside and out for the community. The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification and included an inviting lobby area for congregating, fitness space, pool, multi-purpose rooms, outdoor community garden and theater, as well as space designed specifically for youths, teens and seniors. The facility meets the needs of the whole community.
